December to April is dry season: sunny, windy afternoons from the Papagayo winds, glassy mornings. Marlin peak. May to November is green season: lush, afternoon rain, calmer seas and the best sailfish, tuna and dorado fishing of the year. September and October are the quietest months in town and some of the best value.
Charters run rain or shine. Captains call it off only for genuine safety conditions, and then we rebook or refund.
